Staff has always been very fast and friendly every time I've been here, the food is consistently tasty and there's always drinks specials and events going on. Never had a bad time at Wee Johnny's!

Specials for every day of the week.We visited on Friday, steak night with mellow yet spicy peppercorn sauce, with two sides. We chose salad and fries. We added a glass of red house wine. Superb!Service was fast and friendly, perfect for theatre or concert patrons who want a light bite before the curtain rises.

We went for amateur comedy night, the chicken fingers were delicious, staff were awesome, super attentive to our needs and friendly, made us feel like welcomed family.Highly recommend, great night out!

Absolutely floored by the service! Went there for comedy night not expecting much. Ended up staying the entire evening. Fantastic place! Good drink specials. Also daily food specials. Can't wait to go back.

French onion soup was weak, lots of watery broth, not a lot of onions. Greek salad was good. Friend had amazing fries with her meal, would go just for more fries! We had to wait for service, almost thought they didn't realize they sat us and didn't take an order. I love the Decor the best!!

Great food, AMAZING service and this is a great place to go watch stand-up comedy. They have shows around five days a week and it's a fantastic little intimate space with no bad seats in the house. Highly recommended for a fun little spot in Winnipeg. Plus the drink specials are very reasonable!

Amazing food to an affordable price!

Server was friendly and hard working. Chicken fingers are TO DIE FOR. Trivia night on Tuesdays is a blast. Definitely worth checking out. The specials are a little awkward to understand (eslescially since they had the wrong sign up the first time I went). But all around I enjoy going here.

This is a landmark restaurant that has been around forever. The staff are always very cheerful and genuine and very courteous, quick service with a smile. The spot to go in the exchange before heading out to other venues on the weekends it's also great for after the bar as it is open till 4 in the morning
